A CARF-accredited, Department of Public Health-licensed medication-assisted treatment program for opiate-addicted persons utilizing prescribed methadone and supportive counseling in conjunction with other support and referral services.
Physicians, psychiatrists, and nurses are available for consultation upon request. Individual counseling to address drug use/abuse, personal/family, employment, health, and legal issues is provided, and group or family counseling is offered to those who voluntarily seek additional support.
Kinsella Treatment Center also provides individuals with the option of a three-month methadone detoxification program. The six-month ambulatory detoxification program is available for persons with a history of opiate abuse who desire to be substance free in a shorter period of time.
Confidential HIV rapid testing is offered on a walk-in basis. Along with the testing, individuals are educated on HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STD), Tuberculosis (TB), and safer-sex practices.
