Horizons is a CARF accredited intensive, short-term residential rehabilitation program for adult men and women struggling with addiction. The program offers a range of treatment based on professional best practices and evidence based treatments, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, seeking safety, and medication-assisted services for opiate dependence. The program features a high degree of structure and support, and includes individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, case management, and 12-step facilitation.
An important goal of the program is to prepare individuals for long-term stable recovery in the community. An important component of this is to carefully develop an individualized aftercare and discharge plan. This may include referrals to a variety of housing, outpatient addiction treatment, and mental health services. Clients who complete the program are encouraged to become members of the alumni group and participate in offering hope to those who are beginning their own recovery process.
