Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. (RNP) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all individuals in our care. In alignment with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), RNP maintains a zero-tolerance policy for all forms of sexual abuse and sexual harassment.
This commitment extends to all RNP programs, including Men’s Transitional House and Men’s Recovery House, which are designated community confinement facilities subject to PREA standards. RNP takes proactive steps to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents of sexual abuse and harassment. These efforts include regular staff training, resident education, robust safety protocols, and multiple confidential reporting options.
RNP complies fully with all applicable PREA community confinement standards and participates in regular audits to ensure transparency and accountability. All reports of sexual abuse, harassment, or misconduct—whether made anonymously or directly—are taken seriously, promptly investigated, and addressed with appropriate corrective action. Allegations of sexual abuse or assault that may involve criminal behavior will be referred to the Bridgeport Police Department or another appropriate law enforcement agency.
